Designing Process:

After the rough sketch and mockup, I already knew what I wanted to do with my magazine cover in terms of the layout and placement of headings. However, since I was a beginner at using Adobe Photoshop, it took me some time to adjust to the software and figure out the appropriate colors and font styles to use for magazine cover in order to make it look as realistic as possible. Below attached are the screenshots of my my designing process. To sum up everything, my picture was black and white, so in order to make it professional, I explored different font colors until I was satisfied with the ones I chose. In addition to this, the placement of headings is another thing I have learnt a lot about throughout this activity: I followed the typical norms of placing the headings on either sides of the cover to make it look spacious and used strong and clean looking fonts to resemble real world magazines.
